Hello! I’m Jerek and I’ll be talking about technology in the classroom.
I think it’s pretty useful sometimes but teachers and students should control it. I think this can be done by giving the students laptops instead of tablets, because it’s easier to tell when students are using it. I go to Stevenson High School in Illinois, and my teacher, Mr. Mehta, threatens to throw tablets out the window if students use them during inappropriate times. He shouldn’t actually have to do that because that’s very intense, but it does work to keep students off their tablets. I think this is a great way to moderate technology in the classroom. In conclusion, we should hold students responsible for technology.
